Seven Lakes in Seven Hours

Seven Lakes in Seven Hours

Are you up for an endurance benefit? Entries welcome up to a week before the event!

There are seven lakes in the Chuckanut Mountains and this benefit event takes hikers by them all! Trekking 24 miles in seven hours will be something for all of those who sign up, to hang their hat on. The Seven Lakes in Seven Hours event, or SLiSH for short, started a couple years ago and has raised enough money to buy new equipment for the cardiac rehabilitation center at Skagit Valley Hospital. Enough donations were given to name the center after Heather Schols, who is the reason for SLiSH's existence.

So, on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 the event will be led by four locally known "Iron Men"- Kevin Bingham, Todd Power, Ed Perry and Kelly Schols. If you are up for the challenge, then use this form and  sign up! Regular donations are also accepted through the form and all the raised money will go to the Skagit Valley Hospital's Heather Schols Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. Reminder that all donations are tax free and stay here in the community.

There is an after party, open to hikers and any community supporters, at Skagit Valley Casino from 5:30PM-10PM. This event will have food, drinks and more! Shirts will be available at this $30 event and there will be a discount on hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday night as well!
