Shadow of the Sentinels Trail

PAVED WITH BOARDWALKS

Baker Lake area

This trail meanders through a 500 year old patch of forest and has interpretive signs. There is a very large Douglas Fir on this loop trail that is worth the stop on its own.

The path is mostly raised, wooden boardwalk and some pavement. Perfect for families that just want to get away from the busy Baker Lake tourism climate.

  • Get there: Head east on Highway 20 from I-5, and around milepost 82, turn left onto Baker Lake Highway. The trailhead is about 15 miles up on the right, just passed the Komo Kulshan Guard Station.
