Mount Baker Highway 542
Follow the Chain Lakes Trail under the cliffs of Table Mountain, until reaching a junction at one mile. Turn left and continue on the open trail until reaching the Coleman Pinnacle. Soon you top a ridge at a popular turn around spot nearly four miles from the trail head. Look down towards Goat Lake, which has a rough access trail in late season. Mount Baker has never been closer!
- Get there: Going east on Mount Baker Highway (542) at about 24 miles past the town of Glacier at Artist Point, at roads end. The trailhead is on the opposite side of the parking lot from the restrooms.
