Nooksack Falls

Less than 100 yards

This is a large waterfall that is an extremely short walk from the trailhead. The trail does have some downhill slope to it, but most families should not have too much trouble.

The area of the falls is fenced off for safety and for the long operated dam just up river. Heed the signs that ask not to climb near the falls, for the rocks are slippery!

  • Get there: About 7 miles east of the Glacier Ranger Station, turn right onto Wells Creek Road. There is a large sign here for the falls as well. The trailhead is on the left just before a bridge less than a mile from Highway 542.
