Year Round Hikes in Summer?
It is that time of year when I see people on social media talking about getting out on a hike. In the North Cascades we have quite a few hikes that are at a low elevation and are do-able year round. We also have plenty of others that can only be done in late spring, summer, or early fall.
I would suggest to those that don't tend to hike year round, to come up with a 'top ten' list of hikes to do. This way, when hiking time comes available, you can find out if it is snow-free or open in general.
I wonder sometimes if people hike the hikes they know are close to save on travel time or maybe they haven't taken the time to research bigger, better spots! Here are some hikes by region!
