This trail starts in the forest and enters meadows before reaching the pass. Cascade Pass is the starting point for many different climbs including Boston Ridge, Horseshoe Basin and the most popular Sahale Arm. Find Sahale Arm Trail heading steeply east.and sometimes leveling out, the views get better and better. the final half of a mile is steep to campsites at the edge of the Sahale Glacier. This hike will immediately become a favorite!

  • Get there: From I-5 take Highway 20 east to Marblemount. Turn right onto Cascade River Road at the edge of town where the highway makes a 90 degree left hand turn. The trailhead is at the road's end 23 miles up.
