Clint "Lint" Bunting is my guest in this bonus episode. We talk about why his writings about carrying a trowel gained popularity in hiking forums worldwide.
In his first thru hikes, he did not carry a trowel and decided to add the extra grams to his pack in order to dig a proper cat-hole for going number two on the trail.
"This guy shaves off the handles to his toothbrush, but he still thinks its important to pack a trowel. Maybe this is important." Clint hopes this is what new thru hiking backpackers will say after they hear that he carries a trowel with his ultra lightweight system.
