104 Planning a Washington Coast Hike with Greg Johnston
Push Play
to Listen
Greg Johnston is the author of Washington's Pacific Coast and I had him on to talk about planning a backpacking trip this Spring.
He goes over some things to pay attention to, including the tides, weather and maps showing the points which are necessary to travel over.
I gave him my first choice, which is to backpack from Ozette to Rialto, so we covered this area mostly. Greg also gives some options for one night backpacks or day hikes in the same area for backup plans.
