Ray Cwiertniewicz lives in New Orleans and had never been to the Pacific Northwest... So what better to do than come up and hike the Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT)?
He and his friend Michael started in Glacier National park. Ray describes their hike westward to the Pacific Ocean. I ask him to describe in detail some of the different areas they passed through. I also reference Episode 40 with Jeff Kish quite a bit.
We found each other through a chance meeting with my parents as he was eating lunch at the Birdsview Brewery near Concrete, WA. Thanks Mom!
