We decided to go to the Blue Fox Drive-in on W hidbey Island! My wife and kids were along for the ride, so we left early and found some spots to hike and explore.

We went to the Keystone Ferry terminal near Coupeville and found the Admiralty Bay beach just south of the ferry and across from Crocket Lake. The beach has quite a few places to pull in and park. It was a very fun spot! There are some private houses between here and the Ferry Terminal, so it is not reccommended to hike all the way through.

We headed up to Fort Casey next to show our girls this historic spot. Kites, picnics and exploration was going on everywhere. We headed straight for the big guns and our girls were very impressed. We talked to them about the history of Fort Casey and then followed the trail toward the water.

We didn't go all the way down to the water, because we had just come from another beach, but we did stop and take in the views. My wife drove and met us up by the lighthouse which we climbed to the top of. Also, we took another trail here, marked as an ADA Trail, that goes to a viewpoint of the water.

Another short drive took us north to Ebey's Landing. We parked at the trailhead on the water where there is a beach, picnic tables and a toilet. My youngest was up for the task of hiking up the hill to see the rest of the trail, as long as she could ride on my shoulders.

My wife drove my Raichel to the other trailhead and they walked out to meet us on our way back. The Prairie Overlook Trail leads straight out to the Landing from a higher location. There are quite a bit of trails here for sure.

My girls were now tired and they were also excited for the movies, so we went straight to the drive-in and they fell asleep watching Finding Dory!
